I was born in 1957 in Yerevan in a priest's. I am one of the representatives of Contemporary Abstract Expressionist Art from the Republic of Armenia.

In 1977, I graduated from Panos Terlemezyan Art School and in 1988 from the Fine Arts Institute of Yerevan. I am a member of the Independent Artists of France as well as the Union of the Armenian Artists. A significant number of my works is property of famous art collectors in Armenia, France, United Kingdom, Germany, Russia, Bulgaria, Canada, Lebanon, Israel and USA.
